I met John and his daughters on the way up to Round Bald in the Roan Highlands. He said he likes to go to the mountains to get away from it all, to breathe the fresh mountain air and take in the sheer beauty the mountains provide.  Such a great thing that he's sharing his love of the outdoors with his daughters. :)
