Good Friday

"Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." (Luke 23:34)

The Basilica of St. Lawrence in Asheville is an architectural wonder. It is said that the dome is the largest freestanding elliptical dome in North America. It's located across from the Civic Center on Haywood Drive, a short walk from the popular Grove Arcade. I definitely encourage you to quietly slip inside during your next visit to Asheville. Click the link above and then select "A look inside" for a 360 degree tour of the church. Click here for more historic infomation about the church.
