
I think this little guy is known as a flat millipede. They're fairly common in dark, damp areas of the forest. You can tell that this is a millipede because a millipede has two pairs of legs for each body segment while a centipede only has one pair. Now there's a lame conversation topic for the family picnic this Memorial Day weekend! But hey, with his UT orange markings, at least he fits in well in east Tennessee.
