Hunters by Nature

There is a passion for hunting something deeply implanted in the human breast.
--Charles Dickens (1812-1870) English novelist

This is a shot of my brother taken on Christmas in the icy, frozen tundra of Illinois. I'm glad to be back in God's Country. :)

  1. He kinda looks like a knot on a log. Just kidding. What was he hunting for and did he get his trophy? Great pictures, keep up the good work. Pj

  2. Actually that was a 'staged' shot -- he wanted some photos of him hunting (that was his Christmas gift!). Normally he hunted for deer from this tree stand (but I don't think he got any from there this year). Thanks for the encouragement!

  3. Good Picture! I used to do the same thing, but no more! Too many "nit-wits" out in the woods. However, it was nice to get out and just see Nature at it's best.- Les
