The brilliant display of mountain ash beneath the peaks of Grandfather Mountain. It was so windy the day I visited, that the top of the mountain was closed to visitors. Be sure to throw in an extra jacket if you visit - the mountain is known for its extreme conditions.
Beautiful
ReplyDeleteMark Peacock, I was doing so searching on the internet and ran across you blog with your beautiful East TN and Western NC photographs. Awesome job. I keep thinking I know that name from somewhere and finally googled your name. It has been a long time. I was researching places I might like to come photograph this next summer. I miss the TN mountains so. Keep up the great job. Tell Jeff Snodgrass and Christy Isabell Weems hello for me. I miss the gang at Milligan.
