Roan getaway

On the trail to Roan High Bluff Overlook. The day we visited this week it was 92 steamy degrees in the Tri-Cities and a welcome 70 degrees up on Roan!

    I was up there a few days ago. Indeed it's a relief from the 100+ degree weather here in the Charlotte area!

    Your blog was a great boon to us on our week-long vacation around Unaka Mountain (Rock Creek Recreation Area). Thanks for all of the great information you've posted here!
