be it ever so humble

I long, as does every human being, to be at home wherever I find myself.
--Maya Angelou (1928-2014) American Poet

With its 175,000 square feet and 250 rooms, the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC remains America's largest private home. Geeeesh. It's gargantuan. One hundred of my houses could fit inside! :)

  1. Can you imagine life at Biltmore or the opening gala when the home was built! It's almost beyond belief.

  2. It has been along time ago, but I have been here twice. If any one has never been to Biltmore, I recommend the trip. It is a total eye opener. The place is HUGE! It also was in the movie "Richie Rich". Great Shot Mark!
