bubby bush

This bush has many names: Sweet Shrub, Sweet Betsy, Carolina Allspice, but most commonly around this area I hear it called Bubby Bush. It is known for its fragrant blossoms which smell like a mix of cinnamon, strawberry, and allspice.

The fragrance of flowers spreads only in the direction of the wind. But the goodness of a person spreads in all directions.

  1. We always had a few of these in my backyard in the tree street neighborhood. I just love them!

  2. Gorgeous photograph, Mark. Love the symmetry and playful focal length. Nice colors, too. Keep inspiring, brutha!
