Grandfather Deer

I'm so excited about the possibility of playing hooky and getting away to Grandfather Mountain, that I've been looking through photos of past visits. Here is a shot of a white-tailed deer taken last October at the Wildlife Habitat. And even though I know that the fall colors aren't quite there yet, that's fine with me -- I'll have an excuse to go back again in a week or two!

  2. Hi. Here from Marie's.

I really enjoyed your photo gallery. I tend to be a little "west of the Rockies" centric with my hiking trips but between you and Marie, I need to plan a trip East.

    Cheers.
