bursting forth in silence

If spring came but once a century instead of once a year,
or burst forth with the sound of an earthquake and not in silence,
what wonder and expectation there would be
in all the hearts to behold the miraculous change.

--Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882) American poet

  1. Love your dogwood blossoms, I posted a dogwood pic today also, but yours is better! Love the blurry blue in between. Isn't springtime grand!

  3. Thanks for the comments! Sandy, I've uploaded the dogwood photo to my gallery at www.markwpeacock.com (look in the flowers section). I haven't yet uploaded the yellow robin photo, but I will soon!
    All the best, Mark
