love and time

I learned from looking at his [Ansel Adams] work the places he loved the most, and where he spent the most time, was where he did his best work. I learned from him that you have to love what you photograph, and you have to give it time.

  1. very cool photo. how did you get the water to look silky without getting blurry movement on the people?

  2. Thanks! I actually told them to 'hold still' and took the photo -- the shutter was opened for only 1 second at f/6.3. Fortunately I had some cooperative and steady subjects.
